307 Second Brochure

Project Overview

As part of a downtown redevelopment effort in Decatur, Alabama, I was tasked with designing a marketing brochure for 307 Second, a new luxury loft apartment development. The client wanted something contemporary and upscale to match the building’s modern amenities and aesthetic.

Working as a graphic designer at Red Sage Communications, I designed the entire brochure layout from start to finish. I handled the typography, image placement, and flow of information across multiple spreads. I also created a custom map illustration highlighting local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment within walking distance—many of which I personally photographed to ensure the visuals felt authentic and localized.

The brochure was designed with clean lines, clear visual hierarchy, and a refined color palette that reflected the branding and architectural style of the development. I also coordinated the final printing and production process, ensuring the piece looked as polished in hand as it did on screen.

The final brochure delivered exactly what the client envisioned—a sleek, modern piece that captured the spirit of downtown revitalization. It was used to promote the development to potential tenants and investors and received positive feedback for its clean design and clear communication. The custom map and photography helped anchor the project in the local community, while the high-end layout reinforced the luxury positioning of the apartments. The piece became a key tool in the successful marketing of 307 Second.
